Lycopene & Ellagic Acid
Lycopene is a naturally-occurring pigment that gives a red colour to fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, watermelons and grapefruit. It’s known for its antioxidant properties, which means it helps to protect the body against damage from free radicals. Promato combines tomato-derived lycopene with ellagic acid, another naturally-occurring plant compound found in pomegranates, also known for its antioxidant qualities.
Pinosundia®
Also known as Cancer Bush, Sutherlandia frutescens occurs naturally across the dry regions of South Africa. It has long been prized for its therapeutic uses by many cultures in this country and contains bioactive compounds that may help regulate blood glucose levels and stimulate the pancreas, the organ responsible for producing insulin. Our proprietary form of this active, Pinosundia® has been specially developed to maximise its benefits when taken as a supplement.

Proanthocyanidins are a class of compounds that occur naturally in a range of plants. They are heavily concentrated in grape seeds, which is where the extract for our supplement comes from. There is ongoing research into the therapeutic benefits of these compounds, but it is believed that they work as antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory properties. They may also help to protect the heart and cardiovascular system.
